Adoptie op afstand/ adoption at a distance (English below)

Je kunt al onze honden en katten die nog in hun land van herkomst zijn op afstand adopteren. We hebben ook een aantal honden op onze website die te oud zijn om te reizen of die niet geschikt zijn voor adoptie, bijvoorbeeld omdat ze te angstig zijn en niet kunnen wennen aan een leven buiten het asiel.

Wat is adoptie op afstand?

Als u besluit onze dieren op afstand te adopteren, steunt u ze met een eenmalige of maandelijkse betaling die (een deel van) de kosten voor voeding, medicijnen, dierenartsrekeningen en onderdak dekt. Natuurlijk kunt u zelf beslissen hoeveel u wilt doneren.

Waarom op afstand adopteren?

Adoptie op afstand verbetert het dagelijks leven van asielhonden, waardoor ze de mogelijkheid krijgen om waardig op te groeien in hun eigen omgeving en hen op de lange termijn te helpen voordat ze geadopteerd worden in een liefdevol huis. Door honden op afstand te sponsoren, hoeft u zelf geen hond in huis te nemen maar zorgt u ervoor dat hun redders middelen hebben voor voedsel, zorg en medische rekeningen.

Hoe kan ik op afstand adopteren?

U kunt doneren via onderstaande knop en de naam van het dier samen met “adoptie op afstand” in de transactie vermelden. U kunt ook handmatig een transactie doen naar: NL78 RABO 0342 6480 47, t.n.v. Dogs on a journey. Als u maandelijks wilt steunen, kiest u voor een herhaaltransactie.

Wist u dat u ook op afstand in naam van iemand anders kunt adopteren?

Laat ons weten of je een donatie wilt doen ter ere van een dierbare en vermeld de naam ervan. Schrijf hiervoor een e-mail naar dogsoaj@gmail.com waarin je jouw transactiebevestiging met ons deelt. Wij sturen je een speciaal donatie certificaat, gepersonaliseerd met de naam van jouw dierbare. Op verzoek verstrekken wij het certificaat graag in het Engels of Duits.

Geef het certificaat aan jouw dierbare en laat zien welke impact je in zijn of haar naam hebt gemaakt. Ze zullen zeker geraakt worden door jouw attente gebaar en de positieve verandering die je samen teweegbrengt.

Adoption at a distance

You can adopt all our dogs and cats still in their country of origin from a distance. We also have some dogs on our website that are too old to travel or are not suitable for adoption, e.g., because they are too anxious and cannot get used to a life outside the shelter.

What is adoption at a distance?

If you decide to adopt our animals at a distance, you support them with a one-time or monthly payment that covers (part of) the cost of food, medicine, vet bills, and shelter. Of course, you can decide how much you want to donate.

Why adopt at a distance?

Adoption at a distance improves shelter dogs’ daily lives, giving them the opportunity to grow up with dignity in their own environment and helping them get adopted into a loving home. By sponsoring our dogs remotely, you don’t have to take in one yourself but ensure that their rescuers have resources for food, care, and medical bills.

How can I adopt at a distance?

You can donate using the button below and include the animal’s name along with “adopt at a distance” in the transaction. You can also do your transaction manually to: NL78 RABO 0342 6480 47, in the name of Dogs on a journey. If you wish to support monthly, please choose a repeat transaction.

Did you know that you can also adopt at a distance in someone else’s name?

Just let us know if you would like to make a donation in honor of someone else and include their name. To do so, write an email to dogsoaj@gmail.com sharing your transaction confirmation with us. We will send you a special donation certificate, personalized with the person’s name. Upon request, we will gladly provide the certificate in English or German.

Give the certificate to your loved one and show them the impact you have made in their name. They will surely be touched by your thoughtful gesture and the positive change you made together.
